Our Vision and Purpose
Our Vision :
To become a Christian community where un-churched people are redeemed by Christ and equipped for His purposes in their homes and Central Texas.
Our Purpose To accomplish the Vision for Christ the Rock, our purpose is to reach up, reach over, and reach out with Jesus at the center of everything.
- We center on Jesus by gathering regularly around the Word, Baptism, and the Holy Supper for forgiveness, motivation, strength, and direction;
- We reach up to God with lives of praise in service to God;
- We reach over to our Christian Family with encouragement and support;
- We reach out to Round Rock families through Christ’s transformational Gospel with an eye to our state, our country, and the world.
Our Process To help God’s people collectively and individually grow in His purposes, we call them to four commitments at CTR:
- Center in the Worship Gathering
- Reach Up in Ministry
- Reach Over in Small Group
- Reach Out with the Message
Our Values In order to effectively carry out God’s purposes through our ministry process in our setting, we nurture eight values. They are:
- Keeping Jesus central to everything
- Discipling the whole family
- Developing men as solid and missional leaders in the home, church, and community
- Pursuing simplicity with excellence
- Cultivating a caring culture among God’s people
- Reaching out through building relationships and blessing the community
- Creating an environment for un-churched families
- Launching churches
